Travel to the White Sea in Karelia

Though nowadays the canal lot its significance, many tourist still visit Russia only to see this Karelian sight as many museums and memorials are situated along the way through the canal.

Where to go in St. Petersburg

St. Petersburg is one of the most beautiful cities in Russia. It is divided by river Neva which flows through it. Many rivers flow though the city, that’s why there are many bridges connecting different parts of the city. The bridges are lifted every night at a particular time.

St. Petersburg has many sights of different kind that are really worth visiting. The Narva Triumphal Arch is a popular sight among tourists visiting this great city. The arch was originally constructed over the Narva highway to greet soldiers returning from their victory over Napoleon in the war of 1812. During the time the arch was damaged and needed reconstruction. Now it is in excellent condition and welcomes all the visitors of the city.

Trubetskoy bastion is a very popular attraction among the tourists. The bastion is situated in the Peter and Paul fortress, which was built by Russia tsar Peter the Great. St. Petersburg History Museum is situated in the fortress.

National Parks of Russia

Russia is a county that has a great number of national parks. When you visit this country you must surely go to one of them.

The Losiny Ostrov National Park was one of the first national parks established in the country. It is situated in Moscow, the capital of the country. Natural protected territories

There are a lot of natural protected territories in Russia. Specially protected territories are objects of national property that have nature-conservative, scientific and cultural value.
